Who owns my content once it’s uploaded? Me or the platform?

You own your content 100%. Chit-Chats.io does not take ownership of your photos, videos, voice recordings, chats, or AI personas. We are a hosting and monetization platform only. Your content remains yours at all times.

Can my content be used in marketing, ads, or platform demos without my approval?

No. Your content, likeness, voice, or AI persona will never be used for marketing, ads, demos, or promotions without your explicit opt-in consent. Default is no usage.

If I delete my account, is all my content permanently deleted from servers and backups?

Yes. When you delete your account, all associated content (media, chats, AI personas, voice data) is scheduled for permanent deletion, including backups, within a defined retention window required for system integrity and legal compliance.

Is there any scenario where my likeness, voice, or chats stay after I leave? No perpetual licenses.

No. Chit-Chats.io does not retain perpetual, irrevocable, or transferable rights to your likeness, voice, or chats. Once you leave, your permissions end.

Does this include affiliates / is it sublicensable?

Yes, this protection applies platform-wide. Your content and likeness are not sublicensable to affiliates, partners, vendors, or third parties.

“Early creator protections if you pivot to sell” (no sublicensing to partner platforms / spin-offs)

If Chit-Chats.io evolves, partners, or spins off features, your content and AI personas do not automatically transfer. Early creators retain full control and must explicitly approve any new usage scenario.

Is my AI persona trained on my actual chats, voice, or videos?

Only if you explicitly enable it. AI personas can be:

Can users interact with an AI version of me when I’m offline?

Yes, if you turn it on. AI personas are optional and designed to let you earn while offline — never forced.

Do creators have arbitration rights or class action waivers?

We provide platform-level guidance, documentation, and escalation support. While we are not personal attorneys, creators are supported through moderation, compliance, and enforcement processes.
